Premium leather crafted into a Special Edition Saddle bag design.

The design is clean and simple, a hallmark of the Saddler & Co brand. The special edition, Nutmeg, is part of our 'Flora' range. 

This is a nubuck leather, which will respond to the way you live. Being a full grain leather, you can restore light scratches and everyday wear with a damp cloth & soft buff. The napped fibres on the surface of this leather create an earthy, changeable texture, transitioning into a distinctive, supple sheen that will stay beautiful through years of use - in keeping with the qualities of authentic leather.

Nutmeg : a delicate balance of warm, golden browns creates a sense of rich authenticity.

The curve of the Saddle bag is smooth and softly rounded, handcrafted from full grain leather with an elegant brass stud for closure. The bag naturally falls by your side or will cross over the body with the sturdy adjustable leather strap.

Inside you will find two pouch pocket dividers, while a secure closed pocket with brass zipper is sewn into the back of each bag.

• Handcrafted by our artisan team in Dubbo - Australia.
• Made from full grain leather tanned in Europe.
• Adjustable (5-hole) strap, double stitched leather, edged for comfort, accompanied by carefully crafted leather keepers.
• 2 x full grain leather pouch pockets form dividers inside the bag.
• 1 x internal pouch pocket made from full-grain Italian 1 mm leather. Featuring secure brass zipper pocket accessible at the back of the bag. 
• Measurements:  22 cm high x 25 cm wide x 6 cm deep.  Hanging length from strap to top of bag is 57 cm, adjustable 10 cm in each direction.
• Choose to on the back of the bag for a personal, subtle touch.

Maker Notes:  

There is a luxurious structure to this new leather which is free from artificial finishes. Our original Saddle bag pattern allows the individual colour and leather grain to be fully experienced. Each design is expertly crafted around hidden seams, clean lines, and solid brass touches - in harmony with our values of making for long term quality.

Leather is a natural material, showing a unique grain, texture, and markings in each handcrafted Saddler & Co piece.

Our full grain nubuck leather is selected for its durability, tactility, and excellent ability to wear-in. Already imbued with oils for the long-haul , the leather doesn’t need conditioner, and is even water-resistant. Scuffs and scratches can be worked out by brushing down the leather with a dry-sheepskin buff, also bringing forth the underlying shine and suppleness.
